Deactivating and uninstalling
Deactivating
In Setup, Modules, click Deactivate next to HourBank. The menu items and client pages disappear and nothing is counted or invoiced while it is off. All of your data is kept. Activate it again at any time and everything is back. Time logged while the module was off is picked up when it is switched on again, within the look-back window.
Deactivating also clears HourBank's messages from the notification bell, because Perfex cannot display them without the module.
Uninstalling
Uninstalling permanently deletes every plan, pack, agreement, hours history, setting and AI result created by HourBank. It cannot be undone. Perfex asks you to confirm, and HourBank shows a clear warning first.
Uninstall only when you are sure. To remove HourBank:
- Download your reports and statements you want to keep: the CSV and Excel downloads in Reports, and the agreement list.
- In Setup, Modules, deactivate HourBank.
- Click Uninstall and confirm.
What is removed and what stays

Tasks that HourBank marked not billable, to stop covered time being billed twice, are made billable again when you uninstall.
