Requirements
HourBank is a module for Perfex CRM. It runs wherever Perfex runs. Before you install it, check this list.

| Perfex CRM | Version 3.4.0 or newer. HourBank was built and tested on 3.4.1. |
| PHP | 8.1, 8.2, 8.3 or 8.4. These are the versions Perfex 3.4 itself supports. |
| Database | MySQL 5.7 or newer, or MariaDB 10.6 or newer. This is the same database Perfex already uses. |
| Automatic updates (cron) | Perfex's scheduled task must run every minute. HourBank uses it to close billing cycles and send alerts. See Automatic updates. |
| Staff permission | An administrator account to install the module. Other staff need the HourBank permissions you give them, see Permissions. |
What you do not need
- No extra PHP extensions beyond what Perfex already needs.
- No purchase code to type in and no connection to our servers. HourBank never contacts us.
- No AI account. The AI features are optional and the built-in version runs on your own server.
Things worth checking first
- Time zone. The time zone in Perfex (Setup, Settings, Localisation) and the time zone of your PHP should match. If they do not, the HourBank dashboard shows a warning, because billing cycle dates could be a day off.
- Email. HourBank sends its emails through the email settings in Perfex. If Perfex can send an invoice email, HourBank can send an alert.
- A backup. It is good practice to back up your Perfex database before installing any module.
Perfex's own module Setup, Modules page lists the minimum Perfex version a module needs. HourBank asks for 3.4.0 or newer.
